Barracuda Convertible Worth
« on: May 18, 2015 - 10:53:50 AM »
Is this where prices are at for a Barracuda convertible that needs this much work or as the add says "extensive repairs - There is rust throughout the car as seen in the pics. Some metal was replaced over the years. I don't think it was quality work. I would remove all the work that was done then redo it"

Trying to get a sense of the convertible project market.  Thanks for any opinions.

71's... YES.....Unfortunately there is a huge demand for those cars. Everybody wants to clone them into Hemicuda convertibles and sell them for big bucks.

The one you posted sold for $22K which is pretty high...I bet the buyer had no clue of what he was getting into based on those pictures. I would think you could pick up a more original example for a couple grand more and be way ahead.
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

Yeah I was looking at that one as well. It was offered to me at $20k or Best Offer. I was waiting for some pictures of it and the guy listed it on ebay the next day before sending me the pictures. My local friend bid $21,998 on it and someone wanted it more I guess.
