I Found a NOS Delco Remy DR1114421 for $35 on EBay.  Replaced the internals into a new bracket solenoid.  Works great!

That looks good! The only reason that I see that you would want the solenoid to lift the thotlle linkage when running is if you have air conditioning. Other than that, once the key is on and the engine ins running, the solenoid sets the idle speed. Key off and the center carb closes preventing run-on.
