There was a guy over on FABO that modified a set of those covers and they turned out pretty cool looking.  He removed the wrinkle paint, machined off all the wording/louvers and had them polished.  Definitely a custom look that no one else is going to have.

I have always loved those valve covers but went with fabricated ones from mancini.

Either way I dont have a huge lean to preference, I just need a cover to clear W2 HS rockers primarily.

The fabricated sheet metal ones do that. I didn't get fasteners with my set though.

Thanks go-fish, thats great, maybe the way to go, I like the Mopar ones for the look but it will come down to $$ a little, appreciate the link
