For the AAR & T/A owners I know, an update on the AAR & T/A Reunion next month;
Barry Washington & I met with with the Carlisle staff again today. The 'Gate & Go' is still available for those who pre-register until next Sunday, with this you get a lower price & your windshield sticker for entry is mailed to you so you can drive right into the gate.
On Monday the 8th, the price goes up & you will have to park by Gate 3 & stand in line to pick up your sticker if prepaid or to register at the show.
By registering early, it helps the show staff know how much room they need to reserve for us, so please register before Monday!
Barry & I will also be having seminars at the Registry tent each day at 1pm, so bring a chair, your lunch & your questions! We will also have an original un-restored AAR in the tent to use as a reference to help answer questions & for photos. We will also have current counts for the AAR & T/A paint colors for cars recorded in the registries so far.
Bob Tarozzi will also be on site for questions & answers, he worked for Chrysler & was the liaison and chief engineer for the AAR & T/A race teams.
The Y Building will also have a very nice assortment of original paint & restored cars to check out.
If anyone has broadcast sheets or other 'found' items that they would like to hand over in person, please bring them with you!
The mangled T/A fender we used for a guest list at the 2010 Reunion was very popular, so we will have another one available this year, please remember to sign it!
