the Birmingham Barracudas??





This was a US expansion team in the Canadian Football League.  They were only around for 1 season.  The CFL in the US lasted a little longer than that.

Here are the jerseys..


I am not a football fan, but I got a kick out of the logo and would wear a t-shirt or hat of the team just for kicks.

I also stubled upon this...


This is the jersey for a local girls hokey team close to where I live.  One of the ladies I work with gave this to me. 


Anyone know of any other sports team that use the Cuda nickname?

And I actually like that logo ... most of time they screw up logos trying to get "artistic" ... like the Pat's Elvis ...

I remember it well.  The CFL tried to have a equal mix of Canadian & American teams and the Baltimore Stallions even won the Gray Cup.
They are the only American team to do it.  As Neil said he had 1 of the sweaters but I'm a bit of a sports collector and still have a few.
