Engine Painting Suggestions

I'm looking at painting my 440 engine the same color as my body (snake skin green).  Can anyone give me some pointers for painting the engine?  Do you put an epoxy primer down first, then apply sealer primer, then finally apply the green paint?

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Make sure the surface is clean and yes you can go with a Epoxy Sealer,then straight over that after adequate flash time color.You can go either single stage or 2 stage with clear on top.PPG is a good system to use. Good Luck  Sam
