Dynamat questions

Where do you buy Dynamat in Ontario? How much does it take to do a Challenger except for the roof?

I bought FatMat instead of the dynamat,,,
was much cheaper and worked great.
Bought it on Ebay and it shipped to my door in a few days.

Do you have a car audio place near you ? I buy a brand called "Wires" or something like that at my local Georgetown Car Audio for less then half the price of Dyna-mat.

If you want Dyna-mat I'm sure Rudy Held in New Hamburg can get it, or Horton Hot Rods in Milton will have it as well.

I never thought of Rudy Held for something like that. I'll give them a call and see what they have. It doesn't have to be Dynamat.

I bought my Dynamat from Classic Industries during a sale. One box covers a little more than the front 1/2 carpet does. I still have some of my second box and have covered all flooring, inside rear fender wells and doors.
Btw.... I quickly went over the floor with a wire brush and then quickly wiped everything down with Prep-Sol. I then cut each sheet into about 3 panels. Laid it down then used a heat gun and used a small roller to push it down into all the indentations and creases. It ain't going anywhere !!

I used the Proform stuff bought from a local bodyshop supplier here in B.C. and it didn't drop off the roof in above 100 degree heat. I hate adding weight but it makes the doors sound nicer closing and way less road noise.

Thanks guys. I'm thinking of pulling the interior and adding something to quieten the ride. It's funny, I've had my car four years now and the first three years it was so much fun that the noise didn't bother. Now I still enjoy it just as much but last summer I started thinking a little quieter would be nice.

I have a buddy asking me about sound deadening and hope ya'll can help with an answer. He has a convertible Chevelle and wanted to know if because it's a ragtop it would be helpful to use a deadening product?  What do y a'll think?
