Suspension Upgrade for Challenger

I'm planning out a 1970 or 1971 (depending on what's available) Challenger build, and it goes without question that I'm going to be doing a lot of work with the suspension. Which is better, rack and pinion, coil overs, or maybe a Hotchki's upgade kit? I also heard about a suspension kit from Magnum Force? Are anti-sway bars included with any of these, or compatible with any of them? Is it possible to have both coil-overs AND rack and pinion as well as sway bars? I know it may seem like a stupid question, but I'm very new to suspension systems, please enlighten me. I also know that the suspension has to have proper clearance, and right now my choices of engines are between a 6.4L 392 Hemi, a classic 440, and a 6.2L Hellcat Hemi, and I'm most likely going with either a T56 Tremec or a 727 TorqueFlite with a Gear Vendors overdrive kit. Ah, decisions decisions...basically, which drivetrain would best accommodate the suspension system that would offer the best performance?

If you wanting to replace the torsion bars I'd say there is only one system I'd consider.

What's your budget and goals?

Firm Feel and Hotchkis both make bolt on pieces to replace the stock system with improved pieces that will run around $3500 for both the front and rear systems. They will retain OEM steering box and can be done piecemeal if you need to keep the car on the road.

Alterkation, Magnumforce, Control Freaks all make coil over conversions with rack and pinion steering. These kits are all highly tunable, have improved geometry, and allow rapid adjustments. However they come with a price and will run between $3-5k per end depending on how you option them up, and may require cutting and welding for installation. They also potentially alter the track width which may necessitate new wheels along with the kits.

Any of the above upgrades, stock replacement or complete conversion, will include sway bar options.

you will lose turning radius with a rack system again you may want to do a lot of research on different K frame replacements , AlterKtion is probably the best replacement system & is available with drop in mounting for the 3rd gen Hemi / Hellcat but you still have to deal with transmission mount & floor clearance .
 going the other way you can use a Firm Feel stage 3 steering box with a stock K frame some Hotchkiss components & really make the car handle well
