So where is the boss with the vin stamp on a slanty for numbers matching purposes. 73 duster

Ok. So on a boss just above the oil pan I would assume.

Is there a stamp on the head that shows 225 or 198?

I can't seem to find a stamp on the front boss or on the oil pan rail.

The only casting number I can find is 2806830-3 on drivers side

If you look at the picture the red outline is around the head gasket area, theres a machined edge behind the alternator with the VIN stamping

This number is on a flat boss passengers rear side where the head mounts

The flat boss that is behind the alternator only has 1121
