Are the low fuel relay for amc amx and challenger the same. the terminals look to be the same, but I'm not 100% sure. Picture is amc low fuel relay

I just came across your question. No they are not the same. I have one from an AMC I bought cheap because its a Chrysler part and like you said looks the same. When i put it in the low fuel light is always on. I took them both apart and the AMC one does not have the little silver cylinder with a red stripe around it that my original one has. I'm trying to find out what it is. I'm thinking it acts like the voltage limiter on the dash gauge cluster the is not used for the fuel gauge when you have the overhead console.
