Sorry for the late notice but I am looking to get some cars out Saturday Morning 10:00 at "Nicks Garden Center, 2001 S. Chambers Rd. Aurora" there is a Benefit Lemonade & Ice Tea Stand Fundraiser from 8AM - 6PM with a special event happening at 10:00AM.
The Lemonade stand will be run by Seven-year-old Aubrey Dearman, who's Cousin is Veronica Moser-Sullivan which was the youngest victim of the Century 16 Aurora movie theatre mass shooting.
She is raising money for the 7/20 Memorial Foundation which funds the Reflection Memorial Garden.
A Special Note about the 10:00 AM Event:
During National Law Enforcement Week in May of 2012, Veronica said in a tribute to the Aurora Police Department: “I want to be a police officer when I grow up.” This Saturday, the Aurora Police Department (Chief Metz) will be posthumously swearing in Veronica as an Honorary Aurora Police Officer near Aubrey’s Lemonade and Ice Tea Stand at 10:00 a.m.
The owner of Nick's Garden Center is a customer of mine and I asked him what he thought of some beautiful automobiles at this event around the time that the camera crews would be there for the swearing in. He Loved the Idea and said he would cone off an area for our vehicles (his lot can handle around 180 vehicles).
Guy & Gals this is a big thing for the City Of Aurora, towards healing from the theater shooting so please come join us for some lemonade & Great burrito's while showing our support to this family . I plan on being there at 9:00 and staying until the swearing in ceremony is over.
Thanks in advance,
