hazards & blinks

hey all, im in the process of putting the final touches on my 70 cuda, and when i turn the blinkers on both sides blink like the hazzards are on.  every light is hooked up and working fine its just the blinker thats screwy. any input would be greatly appreciated

Any chance you have the wrong bulbs in the sockets?

I've heard of folks putting the wrong bulb with a single terminal.  I think it will contact both receptacle pins and flash with either circuit.

no, its not that but thanks for the reply.  but ive had a new development, my hazard connector wasn't all the way connected to the flasher unit. but as soon as i plugged it in the hazzards come on and stay on

The park-turn signal lamp housings are the grounds for the bulbs to work, if I understood correctly what you asked.

I asked if the  wires are hooked up to the tab on each of the housings.I forgot  to hook mine up and the turn signal lights and some dash lights were not working right.
