Georgetown, where dreams come true!
« on: July 23, 2015 - 07:54:11 PM »
So today I made my weekly trip up to Goergtown, to visit Alan at his garage. He is always super helpful and patient with my million questions. The main reason for my trip was, I needed help to get the pistol grip shifter out of the shifter assembly and I just love to hang out there talk about cars and stuff and look at all the progress Alan makes on his cars! Always a great time and one of my favourite parts of my weekend.
But this time I was also hoping to ride shot gun in the freshly restored AAR and just cruis around in this beauty!
Well I didn't just get to do that! Alan actually let me drive the AAR from the chrysler dealership where we picked up his wife's car to his house and then around the block! I step on it the car took off! IT WAS AWESOME!!! What a great day! And the car is mint. It was so powerful and ran so smooth! Who ever buys this thing is one lucky guy or gal! I never thought I would ever get to drive one of those things without actually owning one!
Thanks for trusting me driving your car Alan and for all the help!!  :2thumbs: you rule!
