Excellent craftsmanship.  Super that a mopar enthusiasts has taken on this challenge. NOT FOOSEEEE.
Can't wait for the magazine cover photo and story.
Flat hood, 340, smart choice. Dave I am sure could have installed a 318 HP. This is not a Muscle Car. It is a family car. Like the 50's Ford 4dr. Just a comparison.
All Superbirds had vinyl tops because of the seam in the roof.  Cover it up than waste time on each car to fill in the roof seam.
Thank you for keeping the updates. Considering the aholes that keep  :horse: codes. Live with it.

Dodge Charger Hellcat is a four-door, yet it looks mean.

Is this meant to emulate a '70s Dodge Polara or something?

Not too late.  Get an AAR hood for it, paint the top fenders, rear spoiler/deck paint, and put some custom AAR strobe tape  on the sides.

Dave is trying to "emulate" what the 4 door cuda (not polara) would have looked like.  The whole point of the 4 door car would have been to have a sporty e body car that a family would have had.  Something like an AAR would have been a sports car , hence a 2 door.

I've been following this thread since the beginning. I have to admit when I first saw it I said to myself  "who would want to do something like that" or words to that effect, lol. When I first saw the new 2006 Charger, and being a four door, I said the same thing. Well, in 2007 I became the proud owner of a brand new black four door Hemi Charger! At the time, in my 38 years of driving I never thought I would own a four door car. In the eights I had a wife, two little kids and a dog and I laughed at my buddies who went out and bought mini vans. Since the Charger I've owned nothing but four door cars (not including the Barracuda Gran Coupe and still never a mini van!). Anyway, I really appreciate the thought and workmanship that's going into this build and I look forward to seeing it finished.

Here are a few pics showing some different details. One shows the dip line in the inner fender well along with the bottom attachment points of the fenders. Notice the larger cut out openings where they bolt on. This is where we had to add some metal to extend them in order to fit properly. They look stock but will no longer fit a regular production 1970 Barracuda.
