    SB exhaust qasket question

    I am installing new exhaust gaskets on a 360 and the kit comes with 2 small oval shaped gaskets along with the actual exhaust gaskets. I have installed many exhaust gaskets over the years and ignored these small gaskets, but I always wondered what they are for. Any one know?

    Probably for the air injection on later emissions engines .

    probably right, I forgot about that. I figured it was an emissions deal but not that you mention it, I do remember the air pump pipe having a connection like that.
