    Power steering shaft length

    Hey, anybody know the length of a power steering shaft? I planing on switching from manual to power and wanted to collapse the manual shaft I have. Anybody done that before?

    Unless somebody has a powersteerimg shaft they wanna sell or trade for the manual steering shaft I have.

    Change of plans, going with a 15x10 and 15x8 front both deep dish reversed offset though.  Tires will be 235/60/15's in front so I am hoping they fit an 8 inch with 4"bs.  If not I will modify what I need to fit or crank up the torsion bars.  I like the high boy look anyway.

    I haven't actually done this but it looks like you can shorten you manual steering shaft accordingly and redrill the pin hole. Careful measurements and it looks do-able.

    Yeah I was thinking of doing that but I picked up a powersteering column for 30$ at Carlilse and used the shaft out of that one. Was the easier way and the length is exactly the way it's supposed to be.
