If I had $50k, I wouldn't spend it on an investment Cuda. I'd by myself a nice 71 GTX (my dream car), and, with the money left over, start turning my Dart into a sleeper drag car. But, thats just me. I don't believe cars are investments. I believe they are either A). appliances, to get you from one place to another or B). Toys, to have fun with.
