I have a ta hood and need the front molding...it has listed one for a ta hood and one for a regular hood.  it is about $100 more for the ta...any idea why and will the regular hood molding fit??? :clueless:

A vendor told me the TA molding is 1/4" shorter due to the shrinkage of fiberglass compared to metal.
No idea if that is true or not.
I used a standard molding on mine and can't tell any difference.

This might not be an issue for reproduction hoods as the resin/ manufacturing has greatly improved since the 60's.
