Is there a fender tag on the car?

Are there Mexican importation tags on the car?

I am very curious to see the tags that replaced the factory fender tag.

I agree with everyone and would definitely not sell that car if you are simply looking for a real BS car.  That is a gorgeous car but based solely on location that might seem fair but in the US that price would be a steal imo even with it being a 71 G code car.  71s are simply hot right now and will always be   :2cents:

Plus its never really fun finding all of the hidden gremlins on someone else's "restored car"  :eek4: You know your car by now and it might cost you a lot more in the end.  I say keep it unless you NEED the  :money:

# 1 Question you have to ask
Can you live with yourself after selling it ?
I couldn't .... $$ is easily replaced the car is not , I sold my Chall & my heart broke watching it drive away , tryed to buy it back & couldn't bought the one I have now within 8 months of selling , I have been offered a lot of $$ to sell , I just laugh & hang up Because I remember the feeling clearly last time I made that mistake .
My opinion is you have a wicked car so KEEP IT

I am very curious to see the tags that replaced the factory fender tag.

Hello my friend, all cars imported to Mexico in the 60's and 70's by Chrysler and dodge  have its fender tag replaced with a Mexican tag  and also the vin number on the dash was taken away, so any car sold new here in Mexico in the 70's does not have a dash vin and the  fender tag reads only numbers not codes, I will try to upload some pics of Mexican mopars vins and tags so you can see what I am talking about...
My Cuda is from America, we bought it in Missouri in 2011, it just have the regular fender tag and dash vin

Thank you guys for all your answers! You guys convinced me to keep the car, I really don't have the need to sell it now, I was just thinking of selling it so I could get a bs Cuda,   Maybe I will try to find a BS first and when I buy that one I can sell this one, I just hope I find a decent BS for a decent price 😁😁
For now I just installed 440 billboards to the Cuda and just ordered a go wing 😀😀, I will enjoy this car until I find the BS I am looking for

I think you've made a decision you're going to be happy with.

My  :2cents:... I bought a 71 BS Cuda about 4 months ago (33K) from a guy in San Diego.   I have put a few thousand dollars into the car already and it's not as nice as yours.  Hear me when I tell you that your car's value to a person that wants a #'s matching car is the same as mine - AND YOURS LOOKS WAY NICER!     I think you should keep the car unless you need the $ because a Vin tag doesn't matter.

Enjoy!~

Late to the party here but I would agree that you should continue to make your car exactly how you want it.
To me, it would not be smart to upgrade by moving into a real BS car unless it was a true BS convertible or V-code hardtop.
I do not feel a 383 or 340 71 Cuda at above $55,000 is a smart buy, there are too many alternatives at that level and above.
Your car is a great looking car and the stripe and wing additions will make it even better. If you move into a real BS car too many people will be nit-picking over variances from the fender tag codes or build sheet. You cannot order them any more and these cars were built to someone's specification that normally does not meet what is desired today. With your BH car you can make it exactly what you want and the is no penalty to pay.

I hope you ordered the right wing for a 71. They are different than a 70. 70 was go wing and 71 was gull wing. They are a different shape.

By the way, your car is SO cool!!

You have a very beautiful and valuable car... Glad you kept it, some day you 'll buy another Mopar and restore it to its former glory  while you already have a beauty to drive  :2thumbs:
