You apparently also got lucky while traveling at an indicated 80mph while photographing the tag! Be a shame to pile up that excellent bargain- not to mention harming yourself or others.

You got A good deal! and from the sound of it A better car than my 70 barracuda gran coup. I did not buy it at barret- jackson A previous owner did, he never registered it. after I got it home I discovered all kinds of cobble work that had been done to it. I think there mind set was make it look and sound good and get it accost the auction block. took me A little while but now it drives, stops, and go's as good as it looks. and every thing works like it should. I am glad that not all flippers don't care!  :2thumbs:

Nice Challenger! I had the identical build car back in the late 70's less the body side molding and vinyl top. It was my first Mopar, and it served me well. Good Luck with this beauty! May be see it at Carlisle in 2016? :2thumbs:

It's crazy home many cars go across the block at those auctions with so many underlying problems but are made to look good.... I will def be going to Carlisle in '16 even if this stays home, I try to make it up every year as well as Moparpalooza in Virginia.
