Drive by wire gas pedal
« on: November 01, 2015 - 12:00:39 PM »
I got this electric gas pedal, its from a Charger -06, what is the motor (or is it a solenoid?) with a hard wire that goes to the brake pedal for?

I'd assume it's the driver for when cruise control is enabled it holds the pedal in that position.

i believe that's an adjustable pedal, a standard pedal would not have the motor

Yeah, sounds right, that would explain the hard wire to the brake pedal, it would move both pedals. A cruise control would not work like that and the cruise is probably all electronic on these models. Thanks!
