Front Suspension rebuild recommendations
« on: October 12, 2015 - 02:25:48 PM »
What are the groups recommendations on front end suspension rebuilds?  Kit or individual pieces? Manufacturer? Sounds like poly for the most part is the way to go.  Looked at a PST kit for a 1970 Cuda.  Thoughts?

I generally buy individual parts , Energy Poly bushings , Moog hard parts , Rock auto is a good supplier.
You can use C body tie rod ends & sleeves as they are much beefier & bolt in

I've had good results with PST kits in the past. They are a nice one stop shop if you need more than just hard parts and bushings.

I just ((early summer) did Moog offset bushings for UCA, ball joints, tie rod ends and adjusters (from Summit Racing) on the 73... bought their ball joint tool at same time (wise investment, even if you only have to do it once... or see if a friend has one you can use...

SOOOOOOOooooo much better handling with new hardware and updated alignment!
