10 microns being smaller (1/2 the size) of 19 refers to the particulate size removal capability.
Being an HVAC guy I know the better the filter the more restrictive it will be with typically higher pressures also.
Appreciate all the input and will keep one eye on the gauge and one on the !
I think the K&N uses a synthetic filter material that does not restrict flow, even though it filters at 10 microns.
