Green Paint Question
« on: October 19, 2015 - 04:43:09 PM »
Hi guys,

I'm getting ready to have the Challenger painted and now I'm considering Green.  I want it to be a deep and vibrant green.  It doesn't have to be a year specific.  Can someone tell me the difference in the brighter greens offered?  Thanks

Dave

You can use google image to find paint chip charts by year and make (Dodge or Plymouth) to see what colors were available what years, and then use google image again to see cars in those colors.  My favorite E Body green is Sassy Grass Green, check it out!

Limelight is too light to me ,
Sassy is a richer color .
If I was painting a car green though I would be looking at Snakeskin from the Vipers

If I HAD to have a green OE color I'd go Amber Sherwood..   :2cents:

That's a great color.
I had a friend years ago looked just like that but had a gator grain top on it.

I'm partial to EF8  but you can see several examples of Factory Greens at Hamtramck Registry:

How about this?  EF8 Ivy Green Metallic lower with FF4 Lime Green Metallic V02 option painted roof.
