1970 Cuda P/S conversion Pump questions

I have a customer's 1970 Cuda in the shop for drivability upgrades, namely power disc front upgrade and power steering conversion. I have the Firm Feel stage 2 box on it's way as well as the correct steering shaft. Now my headaches move to the pump. The 340 in the car is not the original engine and I have no idea what it originally came from, it's non-A/C and has an iron water pump. I'd like to use the Saginaw pump. I'm finding conflicting information about the brackets for aluminum vs iron water pumps as well as keyed and pressed pulleys.

 Help a GM guy out, I've always heard great stories about how helpful you Mopar guys are, lets see it!!!

If memory serves me right, Siginaw pumps have the Key and Federal are pressed on. as for the brackets for aluminum and iron W/P I don't believe that there is a difference in brackets.

I'm just finishing up a power disc brake and steering conversion on the wifegod's 1971 R/T Challenger.

Are you looking for a original or modified look?
For a modified look I would think for a small block there would be a number of options including a newer modern style serpentine front accessory belt conversions.

If you want the original look, I believe the earlier "tombstone" style Saginaw pump and small block bracket like pictured below would be the correct look for a 1970 340 'Cuda instead of the newer pyramid looking pump.

Many here are not Mopar or no car.
I've owned and enjoyed countless GM, Ford and AMC musclecars over the years including an original 1970 LS6 SS Chevelle and an original 1969 L71 427/435hp Corvette with factory GM over the counter L88 parts put on when new.

I know he doesn't want to go as far as replacing everything with a serpentine set up but this car is far from a restoration.  It's a typical "My way" kind of car.  All things considered, I'd prefer to go with the newer style "pyramid" Saginaw pump.  Classic Industries has brackets for iron w/p 340 and aluminum w/p 340 as different part numbers with 1 of the 4 brackets looking slightly different.  Then I get the pump separately and then the pulley.  Their information is a little loose on what works with what.  $100 for a PS pulley seems fairly ridiculous.  If I was sure the pumps were all the same I'd just pull one off the various Chevy engines I have laying around and buy the brackets but I also have to worry about pulley diameter and spacing.

I have time on my side on this project (which is rare enough) so I need a definitive yes or no on whether this combo will work before I commit to buy.  Mopar information can be so hazy at times, it's a far cry from LS swapping a '69 C10 or mounting a Crown Vic K member in an F100, all that information comes in multiples.
