Looks like I've got it all hooked up in accordance with the instructions except I tried to make the toggle switch thing. I've got the little red wire going to the big red wire (battery red wire) through a toggle. That's 12vdc so it should work like that right? When you toggle on the little red wire should be getting 12 volts. I wanted the toggle as a theft deterrent device and I was going to hide it (the toggle) in the glove  box.
That should work fine. I've seen people put a switch as you are suggesting in the console as well - a little more convenient.

I know that if you have it all hooked up, but with the little red wire dis connected from anything, you should be able to start the car with by jumping the starter solenoid, right? I might try that in the morning to see if that works.
It will turn over, but not start. It should only start after you 'toggle on' the power to the red wire.

I am installing a Mopar MSD 6AL ignition on my '70 'Cuda ... I am running the little red wire from the MSD box to the blue wire that goes to the back of the fuse box. I have also spliced in the blue wire from the Alternator and the blue wire from the Voltage Regulator to the same wire. Is this right??? I would like to see a diagram of the MSD wired up including the wires from the Voltage Regulator, Alternator and the rear of the fuse box leading to this diagram if possible ... I'm a little confused by the whole thing here ... Thanks ... kwikkawi

Thank you Chryco Psycho!!! ... now on to figuring out my map light wiring. I also discovered what appears to be two tan accessory feeds in my dash harness ... not sure if they are 12v sources and what they would be good for plugging into ...

Map light can be plugged into the yellow dome light power as it is battery fed
