MCACN '70-71 E-Body Hemi Convertible posters
« on: December 02, 2015 - 08:29:09 AM »
These two prints/posters are 20" x 30" and are of a good portion of the real '70-'71 Hemi Cuda Convertibles produced (real cars), and '70 Hemi Challenger Convertibles. Of the 41 real cars produced, 27 are known to still exist (numbers listed are to the best of my knowledge - being what was being said at the event) and all of them (the 27) were on display at this years MCACN show in Chicago Nov 21-22. The graphic artist is Brad Miles, and he uses a program to make photographs look like detailed airbrush drawings (cool effect).

Here is the Challenger poster (100 made).

Here is the Cuda poster (also 100 made).

They are $99.95 each and to be featured in the 2015 MCACN show coverage in a future Mopar Collectors Guide. If interested seach POSTER at our site. Thanks for the read.

I must have heard wrong then. Do you or anyone know how many of these are known to still exist?
Also I thought it was very cool to see a few in original condition, nice or not as nice. I thank ALL the owners who participated.

If you are curious and counting the numbers, here are the 14 that couldn't make it:

6 '70 Hemi Challenger R/Ts:

2. 221640 FC7 Plum Crazy with white interior auto Kevin Suydam last known owner
3. 332575 EV2 Hemi Orange with black interior 4-speed owner unknown
4.              FC7 Plum Crazy with black interior 4-speed owner unknown
5. info and status unknown
6. info and status unknown

5 '70 HemiCuda 'verts:
1. 159613 EF8 Ivy Green with green interior auto Kevin Suydam last known owner
2. 290994 Canadian spec car rumored to have been FJ5 Limelight with a white interior auto but wrecked and scrapped a long time ago
3.             FC7 In Violet with white interior auto owned by Craig Jackson (of Jackson Barrett)
4.             TX9 Black Velvet with black interior 4-speed owned by a man named Wallace down in Texas
5. info and status unknown

3 '71 HemiCuda 'verts:
1. 187066 EL5 Bahama Yellow with black interior auto owner unknown (owner elected not to bring car for some reason)
2. 295949 FC7 In Violet with black interior auto owner unknown (considered a partial "rebody" as it was stolen and lost for 30+ years before its striped remains were found and resurrected)
3. 315367 GB5 Blue Fire with blue interior 4-speed owner unknown (was the featured display car last year at the 2014 MCACN show)

There you have it - all 41 Hemi E-body 'verts accounted for and their status (as far as attendance) with the incredible Hemi E-body convertible display at the 2015 MCACN show. Feel free to fill in the blanks for me on the ones marked "status unknown" if you know something and want to share. Thanks!
