I'm curious.   Are you selling the car because you enjoy building one more than driving something that's "done"?  Or you just like the opportunity to own different cars?   The reason that I'm asking is that I have a hard time imaging ever selling my car given the sweat equity that's gone into it for the last 3-4 years (with at least 1 more to go).   Maybe that will change at some point in the future.

Good question. I'm the opposite. I have zero attachment to the cars that I have had. I know guys that still have there high school car after 30 yrs  :clueless:

First, let me say that I purchased the car "done".  I got a very good deal on it from a "GM" guy that didn't love Mopar...I like the looks and the drive, but I get bored quickly...I don't keep cars longer than 2yrs, and only have 1 garage, so 1 goes in...1 goes out.  I'm like a 3 yr old in the food store..."I want that...oohhhh no I want that".  I have yet to buy something I love enough that I say I will never sell.  I enjoyed it, it's probably the nicest classic car I have ever owned...so far.
ANDDD if the deal falls through, I have an extra $1000 in my pocket.  win-win.

What's next?  not sure...I always loved the 71 Challengers, might go back to a B-body...or scale down to a fully done A-body... who knows...for me it seems to be the "chase".

The ONLY thing I've ever kept long term is my wife!!! Cars are just meant to be enjoyed. When I stopped enjoying one car I move it out and on to the next one. Sometimes it's about the chase other times it's just a desire to "move up" into a different class of car. Look at my recent activity. Who doesn't like 71 Cuda's? I finally found "the one" I had been looking for. And the Challenger comes up. I am only able to keep 1 play car at a time so I sold the Cuda and bought the Challenger. I have no regrets.

If I were you I'd keep looking till the "right" car comes along. There are some great buys out there if you're patient. Don't be in a hurry to replace the Cuda. Most of all Good Luck!!!

'71 Challengers are nice... Although i think they don't get a lot of love by Mopar fans. Anyway you aren't thinking the Satellite clone?

'71 Challengers are my favorite year!  And you can get one for less than a '70.
