High Beam Issue
« on: December 19, 2015 - 02:59:07 PM »
Does a 72 Challenger have the foot high beam press?  During tear down I don't remember if it had one.

After restoration I cannot get the high beams to turn off.

I'll dig into the electrical but wanted to check to see if I forgot to put in the foot high beam press.

Thanks

With no dimmer switch the lights shouldn't work at all.   :2cents:               :rebel:

As Mark said the front lights current goes through that switch, in a correct restoration, you shouldn't have neither high nor low beam lights.

Look for the 3 wires that would have gone to the dimmer switch, maybe stuffed behind the kick panel. I'm sure somebody just wired them all together. Then get a dimmer switch and connect them to it.
