Antique Automobile Radio :2thumbsup:

I bought a new radio for my Cuda from Classic Industries. Its one of those that looks exactly like what was in the car, but has modern internals. It worked fine until a couple months ago then one of the push buttons stopped working and it wouldn't hold its presets. Instead of contacting Classic, I went straight to the source and contacted Antique Automobile Radio. I told them what was wrong and that even though I had purchased it last year, I hadn't installed it until this year and didn't have a receipt from Classic to show them. They sent me a warranty form and said that they had a 3-5 day return policy and if there was anything else they would contact me before proceding. Today is the 8th day since they received it, so out of curiosity I called and asked for the status. They said they had shipped it out and I was scheduled to receive it Tues.

I asked if they just threw mine away and shipped out a new one. They said no, that since they build them (not China) that they do all the repair and that they had also updated it to Bluetooth and refined the aux inputs which I hadn't used anyway.

Now THATS service !!   :2thumbs:

Racer57 Thanks for the taking the time to share a story about a vendor doing good things. A lot of people seem to only what to gripe about something but few take the time to give kudos when it is earned.   I have been thinking of one of those for my cuda and this just might make me pull the trigger  :2thumbs:

They ain't cheap !!  Wait until Classic or someone has a sale.  :D

Btw, I feel I got really lucky without a receipt. But it might be that it had a serial number that told them it wasn't too old. Be sure and keep yours though.  :D

My experiences with AAR have been really good too.  If you have a problem, they take care of you.  :2thumbs:

I bought a year old AAR radio from a member here and had trouble with it (not the member's fault). I sent it back to them and they fixed it plus added bluetooth. Only cost me the shipping.  :2thumbs:

I have an 8 track player that was given to me a couple years ago. The guy that gave it to me had it in his car back in the day. It's supposed to work but I haven't tried it. I suppose we could test it. It's your if you want it. You pay the shipping. I'm in Canada.
