The creation DODGE CHANGER cloning a Charger and Challenger.
« on: January 07, 2016 - 04:12:11 PM »
Fellow members.
I met this special creation in Sweden summer 2015, at MOPARS AT THE STRIP.
The name is CHANGER, referring to the connection Challenger and Charger.

Searching the web I have not found info on this Changer, and since the owner is most likely busy in his garage, I will need to "step up" and share with you guys.
PLEASE FOCUS ON THE THINGS YOU LIKE.
PERHAPS SUGGEST HOW TO MAKE THIS CAR EVEN BETTER AT CLONING TWO FANTASTIC CARS.
"Pure at heart enthusiasts" will be eager to bash this project, but please do not !
Let us enjoy this special project.
IF YOU ARE THE OWNER OF THIS CAR, please chime in and expand on the many details.

It's his car and he can do what he wants but it does nothing for me.
In search of the eternal buzz!

yea I am not digging it all; both of those cars are unique unto themselves, merging the two IMO is disrespecting them both... Now, if the owner says I had 2 really bad cars and wanted to make one, then so be it, but not something I would do. Not hating on the talent or ability, just don't see why.

After reading that blurb in the last picture it looks like Ma Mopar built this. I never heard of a "test Challenger" in 1968 that Chrysler sacrificed. Whether it's fact or fiction is another thing.

You're correct ! .... My bad,...I forgot to post this one...sorry
Fellow board members posting in this thread...did you read my initial post?
I'm totally bored with some of the less fancy but straight original low mileage cars myself, and I do appreciate diversity.
Then again I seldom attend "Mopars only car shows" because of the old farts kicking the aftermarket tires of my clones.

If I was good in Photoshop software, I would like to visualize the following changes;
-More fancy wheels
-Grille and tail lights deeper recessed into the body.

There are many "creations" with Challenger and Cuda influences, most of which has been "bashed" in this forum.
Real, and Photoshop projects.
I hope one day A moderator with time on their hands will make a "pics only thread", both for inspiration and warning.

So after reading and digesting the picture of the sign board, they are saying this car (or one like it?) was used in Bullitt. I would have to rewatch the movie to be sure, but I can say that over the 2 or 3 times I have seen it, I never had any thought that the Charger didn't look like a Charger or that there was anything off about it. I think I would have noticed if that car was "different".

Pretty weird looking car, to tell the truth. But to each his own...
