Steering Box Welded With Gussets

Hi Guys,

Does anyone have any pictures of the K-member steering box firmed up with gussets welded in?  Thanks

Firm Feel has some pics on their website:

The only thing they don't show is the skid plate.   If you need something more, PM me.  I put one of the kits on my K frame.   I'll warn you ahead of time that I'm not an experienced welder.

I just got the Stage 3 box and asked about the plates to firm it up.  I have plenty of scrap plate and figured I could just fab them myself if I could see them.

Are you going to weld the perimeter of the K-frame?  As long as you are there with the welder.

Yes that was the plan to weld as much as possible.

I emulated the FF stuff on my box and K frame using steel plate I had.
Current Mopar
70 Challenger RT 440-6 EFI, 73 Cuda 416-6 EFI
05 Hemi Durango, 01 Ram 4x4, 14 Ram 2500 4X4, 10 PCP Challenger 6 spd RT, 01 Viper GTS ACR, 52 B3B w/330 Desoto Hemi, 70 Hemi RR (under const)
