Woodward Roadkill Nights
« on: July 03, 2016 - 06:01:37 PM »
I'm sure some of you have seen that Roadkill Nights will be happening on Woodward Ave in Pontiac the night before the Dream Cruise.  If not here is a link.  http://www.detroitnews.com/story/business/autos/woodward-dream-cruise/2016/06/23/roadkill-nights/86288888/

Well my Challenger is registered and time is ticking away.  It's been a while since I've been on here so many of you probably haven't seen the car or have forgotten it, the most recent description and some decent pictures are on the go fund me.  https://www.gofundme.com/q937qqfw (hopefully this is aloud).

Some of the former and current students are coming back to help wrench on the car which is where the problem starts.  I don't really have parts many parts.  The body work isn't going to happen in time but I was hoping some of you may have some old parts laying around you'd be willing to part with on the cheap.

The plan as of now: In this order(or close to)
Swap out the rear axle for an 8 3/4.  Have the axle need gears and spool. hopefully 4.30s Pretty sure it's a 489 case, the axle is 350 miles away.
New tank and fuel lines.
3" race style mufflers
It ran well enough to grenade the 7 1/4 so hopefully a new tank and pump take care of that(the only new parts on the shelf)
Get dash back in and wired up
get the windshield installed
Drivers seat bolted in.
Alignment(we don't have a machine here)
Drive Shaft(and 1350 yoke for rear end)
Bolt doors and fenders back on.
Drag Radials and 15" Rims
150Hp Shot of NOx(probably not going to happen http://www.nitrousexpress.com/3451/1/36/1387/20945-10-dodge-tbi-plate-system-magnum-engine-w-10lb-bottle.html)
Shift kit in the 46re
Axle Brace
Rear Springs
Adjustable Pinion Snubber
Any 96 Ram Performance Parts that come around
Anything else that pops up or can be done cheap enough and makes it faster.

If you have any of the parts laying around collecting dust or feel compelled to donate to the go fund me,  Thank You.  It's going to make a lot of past and current students happy to see this thing run and probably get some exposure on Roadkill.

The picture was to big to upload.

That's probably what it will end up getting.  Not ideal but close enough.

Thanks.  It should be fun.
