Wiring harness and fueible link questions.
« on: January 27, 2016 - 10:46:11 AM »
I'm just going to start by saying my harnesses are a joke.  Whoever hacked them up must of been blindfolded.  With that said.  There are no fusible links could somebody let me no where they go and post pics of them so I no which type to buy.   I.e. Like middle run or by connector and wire gauge size.  Seems to be some confusion about gauge some say 14 but if I read wire diagram right 16 from factory?

Next. The head light connectors are cut for the one with three wire (I think hi beams). Anyone have a picture so I can get one that looks similar

Lastly dose anybody have a good laid out pic of the engine harness.  And maybe close up of the ends.?  I'll post a pic and you'll understand why.

Thanks

Basic set up using a fusible link is to have a link that is 4 numbers higher than the wire it protects.

If you have a 12ga wire in the system, fusible link should be a 16ga
14ga gets and 18ga, etc.

If you don't care about originality, any fusible link will work.

3 wire plug is low beam 2 wire is high beam
Fusable link goes from the start relay into the main feed to the fuse block inside the car , you an buy premade plug & play fusable link or buy it by the foot & make your own

OK so low beam ( I guess one light for low two for hi) any chance you would know what the pin out would be for that connector - I have black, red and purple wires
