Ignition key buzzer

My ignition key buzzer was working and just now quit. I did sound kind of sick while it was operative though. First, where is it located? I haven't looked yet but it is easier to ask then to hunt. Second I looked on Ebay and found two different types. One looked much like a horn relay the other had wires connected to it and looked much like a micro switch. Thanks in advance for the help.
This is on a 70 Challenger.

In 1970 the key in buzzer is on the dash frame next to the glove box .

In 71 -74 it was a combo key in buzzer horn relay and it was mouted to the fuse panel.

The micro sw with the two red wires is the actual switch in the colum that the key hits .

Thanks, I found the actual buzzer by the glove box, have not checked power there but it does not look like the ones on Ebay. It looks more like a round flasher. Are they available?

I have no idea where to get a round one...

Just got out from under the dash and the round unit in question is the turn flashers. My bad. I did find the buzzer relay can you tell me which wires to check for power. There are three wires connected to it.

yeah the only one I've seen besides the ones that are mounted on the fuse panel (horn key buzzer combo 71-74) were rectangular ... Triangle shaped connector with 3 connections

But that was 20 years ago  . 

The two red wires alone coming out of the base of the colum  are the key in buzzer sw wires . The are not in the two  flat wire groups ( turn sig harnes, ignition harness)

The buzzer on my 74 was located up beside the glove box. It now rests quietly inside the glove box. Those things are annoying.

Is there a way to test the buzzer itself outside of the car? Which connection(s) is the hot and which is ground? I cant tell from my ohm meter.

This intrigued me so I played with my spare (Pt# 2983 696).
With the terminals facing me and on the bottom this is what happened with mine.
1. Grounded the bracket and put 12v to the LEFT terminal and I heard one click, like a relay energizing.
2. Put the negative (ground) to the RIGHT terminal and 12v to the CENTER terminal and my spare "buzzed".

Mine clicks but no buzz. I guess it is dead.

Try taking it apart, clean it up

I did and I broke it. I did not know that the large tab also acts as the ground from the electromagnet to the case. The wire on the coil inside is smaller than a human hair and is connected to that tab. There is no way for me to fix it.
I found a used one on ebay and ordered it.
