Brake line mounting on back of DANA rear....??

Installed my rear brake lines,,,,no issues,,,,but notice there is a "tab" on each side of the axle tube ( looks like a thin piece of sheet metal tacked on the rear,,, and points up )

I assume this might be a clip or something for the brake lines  

If so,,,how does this attach to the rear lines as they run along the differential....

It's just bent down over the line.... Personally I's probably bend them down over a similar sized drill bit then insert the brake line.. That way theres no chance of damaging the brake line..

   If your lines are pre-bent they should match up to the axle shape and the tabs bend over the lines to hold them in place.
