hello group! I realize how important the throttle linkage between the carb and tranny is, (I have a 73 challenger with 318/904 combo without any, got car with no motor or trans) so I went to the local junkyard, found a 73 duster with small block, grabbed the complete throttle linkage setup from it and was stoked to put it on my car... however, it seems that the lower rod is too long for my trans lever.... guess I should go back to the junkyard and try to confirm what kind of trans that duster has... my thoughts were that it should work whether its a 727 or 904... or is that the difference? or is the lever on my trans re-positionable? any thoughts greatly appreciated!
