Is it buyer beware? Or do they disclose?

Not mopar related but my business partner bought a "lightly" used 2013 ford f250 that was a complete lemon in every sense of the word, had the injectors replaced, fuel pumps twice, turbo ect.... Turs out the truck was involved in a snow load roof collapse at the dealership, truck was a complete loss, insurance paid out, dealer rebuilt the whole thing, new windows, windshield, front doors, bed and tailgate then sold it to him as a low mile truck without disclosing anything. After numerous complaints, his girlfriend at the time did some digging and found all of the above out and the fact that the title was actually a rebuilt but somehow the dealership figured an illegal work around so it was considered a "clean" title.

Ater waiting several months and threats, the dealership finally came through with a year newer, better optioned lower mile truck as a direct trade straight across deal.

This new truck has been stellar with absolutely no problems whatsoever..... I feel sorry for the poor guy who bought the lemon after the trade....

That's not cool, sounds like fraud. Glad they were able to dig up the info and get a better truck as they deserve.
Someone I know just recently took his new truck in for service it was less than a year old, well the dealer wrecked it, not a total, but pretty good damage! The dealer was straight up about it and gave him full credit towards any other as they should. The guys buddy went to the dealer and made a great deal on it, he wasn't bothered by repairs. As long as it disclosed not a problem.
