The plastic triangular piece around the stem of the visor can be pried off revealing three screws (screwed into the ceiling sheet metal). Pry the plastic piece off on one of the three sides, not the corner. I believe that the hole pattern for the three screws isn't exactly symmetrical, so you might mark the plate so you can put it back in the same orientation.
