actually 40K isn't far off, BUT that thing better look like you drove it off the showroom floor.
you can ad up to 10K to the value of a car with paperwork. the more you have the more $$$ you add.
after doing a complete resto on my '72 Challenger, i know what it takes and the time you have to put
into the car. resto shops are for people who have too much money. you have to do as much of the work
as you possible can or you'll always be in the whole when it comes time to sell.
just by looking at the pictures, this is what i saw.
1 - no detail in engine compartment,
- parts store battery
- parts store voltage regulator
- parts store ECU box
- factory emissions system not properly installed
- no washer bottle and hoses
- missing factory antifreeze overflow bottle
- paint peeling off radiator
- non factory yellow connector on negative battery cable
- probably doesn't have the original Thermoquad Carb
2 - aftermarket exhaust
3 - not original style shocks
4 - body was not completely removed of all parts prior to painting
-blue paint over factory undercoating
-blue paint on fuel lines and brake lines
-blue paint on e-brake cables
-blue painted factory body plugs
-blue paint on crossmember
-blue paint on torsion bar boot
someone already said that it doesn't have the correct leaf springs but it was a 3 speed car and not a 4 speed car.
this is what i saw just from the pics. could you imagine if a dozen of us got to look at the car in person? we'd have it down to 18K in no time.
