I don't know if it would be worth the weight difference over the safety on a side impact which the doors don't protect you much as it is. Take your spare out if you have one and you will probably save more.
I think I read there is a large center bracket that will shed 10lbs per door. True, safety is a consideration, but
one that puts the new Challenger at 4500 lbs. Also, I suppose safety goes down when we add fiberglass parts.
I know they make fiberglass doors.
