$15,000  :o

$10,000 would still be high but the engine and all the main parts seem to be there.....I would think long and hard about it. Although you are spending 2 x 3 times as much to restore it (depending on how much you do) these cars are not going down in prices, this car looks as though it will take 3-4 years to restore right so prices maybe HIGHER then than they are already at the moment!!  :o :D Plus if you drive the car and enjoy it for a few years that gives you 5-6 years to wait for this MoPar stakes to rise.  :grinyes:

That is one ruff looking T/A however I've seen way worse and I don't have to go farther than my garage  As you already know work on the price and maybe he'll come down. It would be cool to see that T/A back on the road again. If he won't come down much see if he'll through in the parts car maybe that'll help.

I know it is a T/A but 15 grand, in my opinion, is a bit too much to pay for that car in the condition it is in.  If you do go for it, best of luck to you.  It would be great to see that car restored, I just wouldn't want to be the one to do it (or to pay for it)!!!  Keep us posted please.

Got the R/T pics the one I might get if not the T/A. He says it was hit in the front but still in pretty good shape.

So sell it to the derby guys and they'll make 15k with crashing it and winning derbies.
You guys whine too much about the condition and the cost to fix it.
The prices will continually escalate until all us dumb-asses that want these cars start to die off.
Worth 15k?  Depends on the buyer.  Find a better deal and go get it, or buy this one and dive in...don't give up!
Nothing like slick shifting a Mopar 4-Speed!

$15k for this crap is unbelievable.  It's pure junk that would take more than $100K to restore properly.  TA or no TA, at best this is a parts car.  Go find yourself a TA that's already built.

But that R/T still isn't the purple one you see on the top of the first pic of the T/A. Unless the photos were playing with our eyes and that actually WAS the green R/T! You can see that both R/T (green and the purple) has a similarly colored right door (red or orange) so it might be the same car.

I wonder if the T/A doors were mix and matched with any of the R/T's? I see a purple door on the T/A, a red door on the R/T. I'd insist on taking the originals if I were taking any of them home.

As for the feasibility of buying, that R/T.....too far gone. There's just something about a hit of that type that renders a car 'off balance', and it is never the same. A friend of mine had a '67 Camaro that was restored even after it had frame repair, and it came to haunt him. The car was veering all over the road at freeway speeds. NOT FUN at all.   :nono:

You'd be better getting a solid and straight platform for the price this dude's asking. I'd take a solid '72-'74 over any basket case '70-'71.

I just talked to the guy today and he says if I wanted the T/A it would come with a donor body but still not worth 15,000. And the R/T has been repaired where it was hit. Just needs inner fender. He has everything for the T/A except front valence and i think one fender which has been primed.

Hey you have got to tell this guy its not worth that.  I dont know what kind of money you got, but it will take alot of money like in the 30k range to get that thing on the road.  I hope you can strike a deal with this guy.  Good luck man.  I would have the feaver for this car too the red on red would drive me crazy just sitting in a field!!!  I love that color combo!!!
