If the car existed, I would guess no the guy who had this car didnt know what he had (and who knows what state he got it in).  I dont know what kinda crash test stuff they did back in the 70's maybe none, but cars get built for testing all the time.  If this car exists it might be such a car that was built to ultimately get destroyed.  Another thought maybe if this car existed it was built late in the 1971 year and was going to be the poster car for 72?  Dont forget about the yellow 71 T/A, has anyone prooven that; that car didnt exist???  (I think they did, not sure) Like I said there are many reasons if this car existed why its not public.  You can what if the crap out of this situation, all I would like members to keep in mind is that stuff like this has happened before and not to rule it out.

Hey Cuda Guy,
I'm NOT ruling it out. I just think Burpin is Dealing with a wacko... Just MY opinion. If it were real... well I'd be more inclined to show it than this guy is.

I'm not a psychologist. But, it sounds like he is suffering from Illusions of Granduer. Maybe a liitle schitzophenic.
Or even Manic Depressive. He may need help.

Cuda guy,   that was a 70 hemi vert, not a 71. And when he sold at it's "peak"  he missed by at least 18 months...and probably more....LOL.
That car sold for 400 to 600K if i remember correctly..and thats a bargain in todays market.
If you held onto a 72 original hemi cuda for this long....I'd bet you have a dam% good idea of what it's worth. just the fact that it's had one owner in all this time tells me it's going to be no "bargain".

Like a lot of people said above..it's not impossible, but highly improbable....and the proof is in the pudding...not a lot of "he said., he saw, urban legend" type talk.

hemi71 thanks for the heads up on the discovered car.  I knew they found another one I just wasnt sure on the details.

I agree if the guy says he has a 72 HEMI Cuda lets see it, if not he should shut up.  Like I said Im more inclined to look more towards the story TQ shared.
