cuda glass install
« on: March 30, 2016 - 03:45:13 PM »
went to put in front and rear windows this weekend but stopped just before, at the concern of the window trim clip placement.. I have all original holes but uncertain on rear window which ones receive these "hold up" brackets, and if one should bent the tab V cut part up that is slightly bent inside these brackets, and on front if anything other then clips around sides & top and the spacers on bottom, if anything else should be installed before glass is set in?

any help and pics would be great, 70 cuda...

also wondering on rear window does the window sit against these "hold up" clips, or should there be some sort of cushion between the glass edge and the alignment clip, since noticed the front windshield glass edge sits against the rubber spacer.

so here's the rear hold up clip, see the arrow, the stamped piece appears to have this part slightly flared up, should one bent this up further, as I see it aligns with the rear glass is it to be used for holding bottom of window in, or does this flare dig into a cushion of some sort to keep it in place?
does this hold up clip get a cushion between it and the bottom edge of glass, or does glass rest against this metal piece?

which holes do these hold up clips go in, bottom corners, second hole, third? etc.
thanks

I've even looked through different episodes of "graveyard cars" just to see it I can find a screen shot
that shows the clip placement and direction and spacers...nothing so far
also been looking at ebay , etc for used cuda's for sale to see if one has untouched clips so I can determine where and what the setup should be......
