Well I am starting on the glass. I have a new set of glass from AMD and I am trying to start on the quarter glass. My question is where can I get the hallow rivets as shown in the picture. The part the rivets have to go thru is the �� thick channel and base. I have been looking and the longest rivets I can find are �� which leaves no room to roll the end over. According to all the charts they need to be about .062-.082 longer to allow them to crimp. Has anyone else run into this or am I missing something. It doesn�t appear that you can remove the glass without removing these 2 rivets. All help is appreciated.

I never take apart the frame....just wiggle the glass out of it....heck if you're replacing it...use a hammer....

I have a set to do this week as well....I use windshield urethane to glue the new glass in place

Thanks Alan, I'm glad you chimed in when you did before I did something stupid. As I said before. I hate glass. I guess I'll just take a rubber mallet to it. I had heard of the urethane thing and was going to try it. I have to just stop over thinking these things.Thanks Again.

Alan - if you would be so kind to take pictures of the glass replacement process I think we could all benefit.
