Traction

Do traction bars even work with our e-bodies? I have a 8 3/4 rearend with 3.55 gears and a set of traction bars and I heard they were pointless. What's yalls opinions?

You should have a pinion snubber, if the car is not raised in the rear then the factory snubber works just the same as traction bars, if it's raised, put an adjustable snubber on it and ditch those crappy things that hang down under the car

I have 15x10 wheels so I raised it a little bit. Where do I get the snubbers at?

Pinion snubbers are terrible on the street , while they do work great this will limit upward travel of the suspension on every bump .
 a better solution is to add 1/2 leafs going from the center bolt forward only & clamp them together using a square U bolt , this way it will not limit movement or change the ride quality but will allow better traction

 :iagree:  My snubber on my '71 Challenger hit the floor all the time so I just removed it.

Strengthening the rear springs will give you better results than using bars.

So if I clamp another spring on there it will be good or how would I strengthen it?

find a donor set of spring ut them off so only the front 1/2 is used  maybe use 2 extra on each side going forward longer than the second leaf bolt them in with the center bolt & clamp them at the front with a pair of plates or a square top U bolt

Would unclamping the rear section of the springs help?
I've done this before on my Charger,,,,,

yes it will this allows more force to the front end of the spring as the rear is not fighting it
