I like most of the articles from any Mopar magazine... I just don't like to see pics of GM and Ford cars within the magazine... just look at how MM is including them... their latest issue includes a 1/2 page of Cougar... and they promote HOTROD, CARCRAFT, MOTOTREND... and include a Chevy insignia... and a Camero in one ad... MM is a MOPAR magazine, yet their publishers/owners include ads/pictures for other brands ... Chevy/Ford... this should be taboo!  It is supposed to be MOPAR OR NO CAR!

 :iagree:
Current Mopar

Past Mopars

I don't particulary mind seeing the odd GM or FoMoCo product in the ads. At the end of the day, they're just ads. Sure would be nice if the advertisers could be bothered to create Mopar specific ads, but I guess from the advertisers point of view it's only for a mag or three anyway, so why bother with that when the same ad can be used in ten-fifteen other mags as is.
I'm just happy that they make products for Mopars, being sulky about a picture of a Camaro in an ad for whatever product I can also get for my Mopar is just validating the view some have of Mopar people being a little "special".

In general I tend to agree, however I have seen some ads as of late where they have the word "MOPAR" splashed across the page with a Camaro or Mustang in the back ground; it just looks lazy and a little insulting. I don't think the readers of the other mags would be happy to see "Mustang" or "Chevy" with a picture of a Cuda or Roadrunner up front.

True that. If the advertiser can be bothered to change the ad to say MOPAR, it's not really a big step to change the background picture to a Mopar of some sort.
But apparently those advertisers think differently.

HOT ROD ... CAR CRAFT... ads in the MOPAR MUSCLE magazine editions... they are the worst offender... MOPAR OR NO CAR!  Period!   HR and CC don't speak the language of what Mopar is all about... its the publishers of MOPAR MUSCLE that don't truly understand..

As one has said here... imaging if Chevy and Ford magazines were to include pictures (including ads) with Mopars included?... they wouldn't like it.
Autocross/road racers go in deeper... and come out harder!
