Are you looking for a car that would be a solid investment or a car that just "looks" the part ? The green convertible is decent, but it's a clone, it will never be worth "big dollars"
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !

At the end of the road,I would like to get back what I have in it.
A lot to be said about a convertible especially with a wife and kid.
I'm not a green guy,it's a 318 car.
I'm wide open to what ever.
My cars are large savings accounts I enjoy.
What about the other 3 cars?

To this I would comment "good luck". Others here may say something different but this is where I think there is a hiccup in your desires. If you buy one of these cars for say mid 30's, how much do you think you will have to put into it to make it into what you envision? Say you get a car for $30K, it is probably going to take another $40 (low side) to make it into the beauty I think you envision. So now you have $70K into it, are you confident you are going to get that out of it? I can see why you want a V code car, but a good V code car for 30K that isn't going to absorb another 40, 50 or more to make "right" in order to command the big $$ is going to be a huge challenge.

There's a Convertible Challenger in NYC in my price range but it's green/green...not a fan of.

Dave,

A $35k 70 Challenger Vert in rust free condition would be worth giving more consideration given you could simply swap out the interior to black or white to really tone down the "green effect".  And at if that doesn't do the trick, it would be an easy resale!

My Pace car is for sale. http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=44869.180

Driven many miles since it's paint job 7 or eight years ago. Could use a fresh paint job and minor rust and body work.

I'll put a for sale post up soon.  $38000 for a quick sale.    Less seems too cheap, more seems too high.
