OK, so I decided to take some pictures today of how it sits.  Realize at this point I'm waiting for the rear disc brakes to arrive and the Ididit steering column (backordered).  But here are some pics.

Just took the car out for a "maiden voyage".   :bananasmi  It's running very lean and the idle stays up around 12-1400 with the idle screw all the way out, so I have to find the air leak.  So it's sluggish initially and pops on deceleration.  But....  OMG!!!  When the outer carbs open up, it's like a turbo spooling up!   :wow: I've built a bunch of newer and older LS powered cars with forced induction and big numbers (1187 RWHP in the vette), but not as responsive and mean sounding as this.  Have to adjust the exhaust pipes to stop rattling on the rear valence at a stop light and adjust the shifter linkage so the neutral safety switch will engage in Park.

Now just waiting for the secret audio radio to arrive and the new steering wheel.  The stock wheel is, well, COMICAL!  I also have to sort out the wipers.  One speed, FAST, and they don't park...
