I have tried changing the Orange box out for a black one from my local CARQUEST auto parts.
The orange box still shows 11.5 volts at the - and + coil terminals and inside where the coil wire goes 11.5
both sides of the ballast show 11.5 while key is in the "run" position.

The black box shows .9 on the - terminal 6.3 on + and .9 inside where the coil wire goes.
The ballast shows 10.7 on 1 side and the other with the brown wire shows 6.4

When I run tests inside the plug for the ECU it tells me it should be within 1 volt of the battery and it is.

Do you think the problem is in the wiring harness?

Found out the problem was a bad distributor from the kit I bought at Summit. Returned the bad one and installed the new one this morning. Just like the 'Cuda it fired right up , a simple timing adjustment and I'm ready for a test drive!!!

 Thanks for your help Guys!!!

Quality control is now a numbers game with us consumers doing the r&d on our dime and time.
